Orthopaedic Physician Assistant
The Bone & Joint Center is seeking full-time, NYS licensed physician assistants to work in a dynamic, growing, and very busy practice of 40+ orthopaedic surgeons.
Our physician assistants treat urgent injuries in our Orthopaedic Urgent Care and first assist our surgeons in the operating room.
Responsibilities:
- Taking patient histories and performing physical examinations in clinic setting
- Working in our Orthopaedic Urgent Care and assisting doctors in the operating room
- X-ray interpretation
- Development of treatment plans
- Performing reductions
- Performing injections
- Prescribing medications
- Splinting
- Performing other duties as may be requested or required on a non-regular basis
Requirements:
- PA-C
- Physician Assistant License
