About

Dr. Colleen Moreland is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in pediatric orthopaedics, clubfoot, developmental dysplasia of the hip, and lower extremity deformity. She believes in helping children participate in their care experiences and encourages this by engaging them and their caregiver in shared decision-making whenever possible.

Dr. Moreland’s education and training began at Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. Dr. Moreland continued her training, completing her orthopaedic surgery residency training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. After residency training, she refined her skills by undergoing a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at The Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

When Dr. Moreland is not seeing patients, she enjoys motorsports including precision navigation and overland rallying.
