Dr. R. Maxwell Alley Inducted Into Shaker High School Hall of Fame

The Bone & Joint Center surgeon Dr. R Maxwell Alley was inducted into the Shaker High School Hall of Fame this past year. The Alumni Hall of Fame, established in 2009 in honor of Shaker High School’s 50th Anniversary, was created to feature graduates who serve as role models to current students.

With many outstanding alumni, Shaker High wanted to recognize individuals such as Dr. Alley for their outstanding achievements in both the community and their professions. Dr. Alley is a magna cum laude graduate of Middlebury College and a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. At The Bone & Joint Center, Dr. Alley is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine.

Dr. Alley has also served for many years as the team physician for his alma mater, Shaker High School’s football team, as well as at the University at Albany.
