“I've had 2 previous surgeries at The Bone & Joint Center. I had about 50% use of my right hand. I became a patient of Dr. Whipple and he was so caring and explained everything to me before and after my first surgery. A month later after healing from my carpel tunnel surgery (which was a 100% success) I needed my shoulder surgery done. Once again I had Dr. Whipple perform my second surgery. I had about 30% use of my right arm. After my surgery, Dr. Whipple had me go to Physical Therapy and by the time I was finished with PT, I had 100% ROM. Something I've never had before! I was so thrilled with his work and bedside manner. I would and have referred friends and family to him. I've been seen by Dr. Schneider first before he himself had referred me to Dr. Whipple and I have to say, Dr. Schneider is one of the nicest, kindest most caring Drs I have ever been to. He's always quick to get you in to see him and he always listens to what you have to say, even when you think your questions might sound silly, he understands people and their concerns and worries and that people are nervous when you're talking about Surgery. He never makes you feel anything But important. This past Thursday, I had knee surgery. Dr. Schneider performed this surgery and I was thrilled with his reassurances and bedside manners and put my mind at ease. Recovery was fast, pain was minimal. 3 days later, I was walking around with my crutches, and doing my knee exercises faithfully, by the 4th day I used one crutch, today, I'm walking around crutch free but going gently. My knee feels and looks great already! I am so pleased and satisfied with my Drs and the care from them and all of the others at The Bone & Joint Center, I would never even entertain the idea of ever going any place else if or when I ever need anything orthopedically done in my future. “I have been diagnosed with tears in my meniscus, and I've been experiencing discomfort and swelling due to the resulting baker's cyst. Dr. Schneider is very good at making a patient feel comfortable. I was worried that my knee would have to be operated on soon, but he advised against it. I'm very active at the gym and play golf, so I was concerned that my summer would be cut short by the surgery. In addition, I've never had an operation, so I'm nervous about having one. He drained my knee, gave me a cortisone injection, and both were nearly painless. His advice to maintain my activities unless I'm in severe pain or have loss of function in the knee.
