“I suffered 3+ yrs and wasn't able to walk without pain or feeling that my balance was in jeopardy. Dr. Roberts had and X-ray taken and he said I would need both my hips replaced. He explained the procedure and I also saw the video online. He and his nurse set up the first surgery and they gave me printed, detailed material of what the next months would entail. (there was directions for the hospital for the pre-op as well as the day of surgery) I had a one night stay. I was up within hrs of my surgery! The hospital and nurses were wonderful. Dr. Roberts came in and asked if I had questions and he said the procedure went well. Then in 6+ months, I had my 2nd hip replacement and the experience was the same. The healing is quick especially if you do the exercises to build your muscles for stability. I am one month after the second surgery and I am walking with balance and no pain!! The office staff and Dr. Roberts are very busy but not too busy to answer and help you at any time. I even had a phone number to call with any concerns or questions that I may have forgotten. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts. He has a wonderful gift. I can walk and do all my everyday things. Life is good. Thank you so very much.”

“I was 54 years old, active, and in the best shape of my life. I was having pain in my left hip, a catching sensation; I was diagnosed with a labral tear and treated by Dr. Das. He told me that it looked like I would need a hip replacement. I was bone-on-bone within 6 months. I had to use a cane to walk and I was in constant pain. Dr. Das referred me to Dr. Roberts. Dr. Roberts said he would be able to help me and that he would use an anterior approach and that I would be able to walk right away. I had surgery. From the minute I walked through the door at AMCH, everyone told me what a wonderful surgeon Dr. Roberts is and how pleased I would be. It was an impressive set up. Dr. Roberts has a team of anesthesiologists he uses, and the ortho floor is accustomed to his patients and follows a strict protocol. I had my hip replaced in the morning and by evening, I walked around the RN station with a walker; it was the last time I needed an assistive device. I attended PT for 4 months, worked hard, and did everything asked of me. I am able to exercise again, I can walk and the best part is that from the moment I came out of surgery, the pain was gone!!!
